Dental implant success is related to operator skill, pleasant and volume of the bone handy at the site, and the patient's oral hygiene, but the most vital aspect is predominant implant stability. Caution:Fracture occurs, in case excessive torque is applied.

When applying torque, check that the screw hex is completely installed. Application of torque with imperfect installation may result in a fracture at

the strength under fracture strength.

Torque should be applied vertically. (Do not tilt the set.)
If the tip is bent due to the use for a long time or excessive torque, replace it.

Immediate post-operative risks
1. Infection (pre-op antibiotics limit the chance of implant failure by way of 33 percent but do no longer affect the danger of infection).
2. Excessive bleeding
3. Flap breakdown (less-than 5 percent)
